Dear parents/carers,

Yesterday afternoon, some of our year 5 and 6 boys and girls represented us at cross country at Rushcliffe Country Park.

Whilst we didn't qualify for county finals, none of our children finished last and more importantly they represented the school so well and I am incredibly proud of every single one of them. The sportsmanship they demonstrated was nothing short of brilliant. They cheered each other on, checked up on each other and the children who finished quickly even went back to run alongside their team mates who were still competing. 

Hollie, Charlotte, Charles, Maxi, Alfie, TJ, Harry and Jack - well done! We couldn't have asked for any more from you.

Thank you to the parents who were able to give lifts and stand (in the cold) and cheer (and photograph) our runners - we really appreciate your support!

In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for Spring Term events and something else exciting and PE-related being "built" at KPS!
