Dear parents/carers,

Just a quick message to share how incredibly well our football teams did during last night's friendly against Willow Brook.

The boys team won their game 2-0 and whilst the girls didn't win their game, their skills and ability to work well as a team shone through.

The boys played a blinding game - there was some excellent passing and tackling from everyone and an absolute SMASHER of a goal from Noah and also Ollie!

The girls also really impressed both myself and Mr Kirk - they worked tirelessly and didn't lose an ounce of energy throughout the game. Amelia did us proud in goal and after some half time 'diving practice' from Mr Kirk, she made some excellent 'diving' saves!

So, Amelia, Etty, Scarlett, Poppy, Avairy, Georgie, Miranda, Sia, Ollie, Noah, Toby, Oliver Mo, Alfie C, TJ, Christopher, Felix, Rory and Owen WELL DONE! We are SO incredibly proud of you - I could burst with pride!

Thank you also to all of those parents who offered lifts and stayed to support our teams - it really was a lovely evening and we couldn't do it without your support!

A final thank you to Mr Kirk for not only giving up his lunchtimes to coach our teams but for his non-stop words of encouragement throughout each match.
