Meet Our Governors

Structure of committees

KPS governors do not operate with a formal committee structure. It has been found more beneficial to use the following:

  • Full GB meeting near to the beginning of each term – discussion items referred to Development meeting
  • Development meeting, involving all governors in the second half of each term. This meeting addresses items across the full spectrum of GB responsibility
  • Finance/Personnel/Curriculum meetings convened when necessary. Mrs Alexandra Hudson is the Chair of the Finance Committee, Mr Townsend is the Chair of the Personnel and Curriculum Committee. Governors have expressed their preference for committee remits and make up committees where and when convened.
